Hello everyone. 2011 is officially here and I can feel that more then ever now! I am currently watching "Haiti Festival of Hope" at http://www.samaritanspurse.org/haitilive/. You should be too! They are broadcasting live different events from the hosts talking, to performances, to speeches, to previously recorded videos of important figures, and more. It's very eye-opening stuff. I definitely recommend checking it out. It's very inspiring to see Haiti up close and live, definitely more revealing than just reading about it in the news. If you miss the live broadcasting, you can check them out on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/SamaritansPurse. They have some really neat photos on there too of the children in Haiti opening their donated gifts. It's not often that you get to see the looks on less-fortunate kids' faces when they are given something. I confess that I was nearly brought to tears. As far as more inspirations, the other day I watched a show on ABC called "What Would You Do?" It features real people encountering sticky situations and shows how they respond. Very, very interesting show. Check it out when you can. For more information, visit their official website: http://abcnews.go.com/WhatWouldYouDo/. It's insightful to see if strangers do the right thing or walk away. What would you do?
