What's your dream?

Happy MLK day guys!!! In honor of the great Martin Luther King, Jr., I decided today was a perfect day to get on here and blog. In 1963, MLK had a dream for a better future. In his famous speech he said, " I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." To watch or read his "I Have a Dream" speech visit this website: http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/mlkihaveadream2.htm. Just like MLK himself, I have a dream too. I have a dream that one day, not only this nation, but every nation in our world will come together as one people accepting our differences and embracing our similarities. I have a dream that one day we will stop killing each other off as we compete for evils such as power, money, and control. I have a dream that one day peace will overcome war. I have a dream that one day we will all live in a world less consumed with greed and more focused on giving. I have a dream that one day every child in this world will no longer live in fear and will safely be able to play outside. I have a dream that one day no animal will be hurt or endangered. I have a dream that one day every disease will be cured. I have a dream that one day we will all learn to carry one another rather than destroy each other. Thank you Mr. King for your inspiration. I hope we all may continue your legacy of changing this world into a better place.
